قامت صفوف الحلقة الأولى والروضات في مدرستي خليل شهاب وعثمان ذي النورين بزيارة إلى داينو سيتي في منطقة عجلتون حيث شاهدوا الأنواع المختلفة من الديناصورات وسمعوا أصواتها المرعبة وشاهدوا مجسمات تجسد حياة الإنسان القديم ثم كانت لهم وقفة في المتحف الثقافي،كما استمتعوا بالألعاب وكانت فرحتهم لا توصف حيث غنوا ورقصوا أثناء العودة إلى المدرسة

Grade Six Students Curing an Alien

Students of grade 6 made an activity where they used different types if chemicals and tested them inorder to find the proper medicine for an Alien. Students enjoyed the activity alot and they discovered about acids and bases and practiced many laboratory skills.

A Documentary about our School on Deutsche Welle TV

The Unesco will be holding a conference about sustainable development in Germany tomorrow.Christina Foerch,aGermanJournalist-Producer, did a documentary with our staff and students about how schools in Lebanon educate for sustainable development. It will be aired during Arabic news on Deutsche Welle television (DW-TV) tomorrow at 5:00 and will be repeated at 7:00, 9:00 and 11:00pm.Hope you find this channel tv on your satellite and watch us.

Writing for Special Needs Children

Mrs. Sabah Wazzan and Mrs. Rawya Shatila attended a workshop at Haigazian University titled "Writing for Special Needs Children". In this workshop participants learned to identify writing difficulties and signs of a writing problem in special needs students. We also learned to recognize signs of dysgraphia and to identify the stages of writing and subskills for writing. In addition participants practiced applying different strategies to enhance writing for students who struggle.
