Four-leaf Clover Poem

I know a place where the sun is like gold,

And the cherry blooms burst with snow,

And down underneath is the loveliest nook,

Where the four-leaf clovers grow.

One leaf is for HOPE, and one is for FAITH,

And one is for LOVE, you know,

And GOD put another in for LUCK --

If you search, you will find where they grow.

But you must have HOPE, and you must have FAITH,

You must LOVE and be strong -- and so --

If you work, if you wait, you will find the place

/ Where the four-leaf clovers grow.

On the 20th of March,mothers were invited to spend a day with their kids.They made cards ,paper flowers,and candles.Then, they watched a short movie about their kids.Teachers performed a puppet show entitled Take Care of Moms.Finally, everyone sang Happy Mother's Day and ate cake. It was a day to remember.
Dear Moms, we did not mean to make you cry .We just wanted to draw a smile on your angle faces.

Grade 1,2,3, 4,5 student wrote letters and put them in hearts that they painted & decorated.Grade six students prepared cards for their moms & went to the postoffice(Liban Post)& sent them to their moms .On Wednesday ,moms will be surprised by the post man at their door.Will they guess who sent the letter?

Mrs Ghina Hafez participated in the"Shaping The Way We Teach Program" which is sponsored by the American Embassy. She gave two presentations entitled "Managing Large Classes" and "Jigsaw II:a Method that Increases Literal and Higher Order Comprehension" at the American University of Cairo.
